<strong>Differences between arc basalt and MORB</strong>

Making thin sections from Island arc basalt from Hyogo prefecture and mid-ocean ridge basalt sample from Iceland, mentioned to compare rock organization and considered the cooling history difference.

Senior high school students provide poster presentations on topics in fields of earth and planetary sciences. This session provides an opportunity for senior high school students to give their presentations in the conference and to have discussions with researchers. This session has been conducted as a public outreach session since 2006.
