Our knowledge on oceanic responses against global warming and/or ocean acidification exhibits significant progress in recent years, but severe uncertainties still remains in the response of shallow waters and coastal regions due to the complexity in both water structure and biogeochemical systems in these regions. In this session, we will gather information of oceanic response against GW/OA in shallow and coastal waters and make inter-disciplinary discussions. Presentations from litoral sciences (salt marsh, estuary etc.) is also welcomed.
