[H-CG30][EJ] Interdisciplinary approach to earth's changing surface

Wed. May 24, 2017 1:45 PM - 3:15 PM JST
Wed. May 24, 2017 4:45 AM - 6:15 AM UTC
106 International Conference Hall 1F
convener:Koji Seike(Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, University of Tokyo), Hideko Takayanagi(Institute of Geology and Paleontology, Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University), Hajime Naruse(Department of Geology and Mineralogy, Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University), Naofumi Yamaguchi(Center for Water Environment Studies, Ibaraki University), Chairperson:Koji Seike(Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, University of Tokyo), Chairperson:Naofumi Yamaguchi(Center for Water Environment Studies, Ibaraki University)
To understand landscape evolution and dynamics of erosion, transport and sedimentation of earth-surface materials, the latest results of multiple research fields including engineering and earth sciences will be presented. As well as any researches of sedimentology and sedimentary petrology, interaction between fluid, sediments and geomorphology is focused. Interdisciplinary discussions of science, disaster prevention and resource exploration will be expected.
