超高齢社会において、口腔機能の回復を基盤とした「食べる力」と栄養の重要性が高まり、補綴歯科治療と栄養治療の両軸による栄養状態の向上への寄与が期待される。本シンポジウムでは、歯科治療と栄養治療との関係を整理し、演者それぞれの取り組みの現状と課題、今後の学会間協働の可能性について多角的に検討する。
