磁性アタッチメントは1992年に有床義歯の支台装置として開発・臨床応用され，2021年には歯科保険診療に収載された．磁力という特性を生かし，超高齢社会に寄与する有用性と魅力を備えた可撤性支台装置である．本シンポジウムでは，日本磁気歯科学会が実施する予後調査と臨床から見える現状，新たな磁性アタッチメントの開発動向と最新知見，そして将来展望について講演いただく．
