Challenges and Future Strategies in Antidepressant Drug Discovery: DSP-3456, an mGluR2/3 Negative Allosteric Modulator, Paving the Way

This symposium will provide a comprehensive overview of cutting-edge research on novel antidepressants, including ketamine and psilocybin, which are considered to be breakthrough treatments for depression. Experts from a variety of fields will present the latest findings on molecular and cellular mechanisms, neural circuit and advances in drug development. The program aims to highlight the current challenges and future perspectives of translating basic research into clinical applications. This symposium will foster active discussion among researchers and hopefully serve as a platform to uncover the therapeutic potential of these innovative antidepressants.
