This study aims to clarify the discrepancies in perception and differences in information provision priorities between council deliberations and public information dissemination regarding wildlife damage in the Tokachi region of Hokkaido. Municipal newsletters, local assembly minutes, and newspaper articles were collected and analyzed through qualitative and quantitative methods to compare the characteristics of discussion points and disseminated content across each medium. The results visualized the gaps between media in the flow of information from reporting to deliberation to communication, and provided insights for improving municipal information provision.
