[16a-A25-3] 1 × 2 Field Splitter Using Nano-pixel toward Compact Optical Mode Switch

A 1 × 2 optical field splitter using nano-pixel is designed toward compact optical mode switch. The device was designed in 2.4×2.4 µm² footprint and the simulation exhibited the field splitting of fundamental order mode and 1^st order mode with excess loss of below 1 dB.
