Iron-based superconductors have a layered structure which causes anisotropy in their physical properties. Detailed information about the anisotropy is important not only for understanding the fundamental properties of this system, but also for considering wire applications. However, in the LnFeAsO (Ln = Nd, Sm,...) system, which has the highest superconducting transition temperature among iron-based superconductors, detailed anisotropy reports are limited due to the difficulty in the syhthesis of single crystals. We have established a high quality thin film fabrication technique of NdFeAs(O,H) and have investigated the hydrogen content dependence of the anisotropy of the upper critical field gHc2. In the lower H-content specimens, gHc2 was about 8-9, which is a rather large value as compared to other iron-based superconductors.
