高性能で高効率な先端半導体がIT機器、クルマ、ロボットなどあらゆる製品の性能を決定していく。先端半導体の社会への影響力が増す中で、応用物理に関係する設計、材料、デバイス、プロセス、評価などの半導体各分野の研究開発成果が与えるインパクトも大きくなってきている。そのため、研究開発者の活躍機会が拡大するとともに、社会の期待も高まっている。本講演では、先端半導体分野で活躍が期待される人財とその育成について、LSTCの活動も交えて紹介する。
