In this study, the thermal resistance of freestanding CNT forests of different lengths was evaluated using transient thermal response measurements. From the thermal structure functions obtained, the thermal resistance of CNT forests with a length of 950 µm was estimated to be 3.33 cm²K/W and the interface thermal resistance was 0.5~1 cm²K/W. As the forest length increases, the thermal resistance also increases nonlinearly, possibly due to the decrease in root density associated with longer lengths.
