In order to extend the lifespan of the Fe catalyst, a Yttrium (Y) layer was incorporated at its base, and CNT synthesis was carried out using a cold gas chemical vapor deposition method. This Yttrium layer proved to be effective in prolonging the catalyst's lifespan. Additionally, the introduction of water-assisted technology further extended the Fe catalyst's lifetime.
