Asymmetric TiO2 nanoparticle arrays were fabricated by glancing angle deposition and thermal oxidation of titanium on TiO2 nanoparticle arrays, and their optical response was evaluated. The extinction intensity measurements showed an asymmetric response along the surface lattice resonance (SLR) diffraction lines for positive and negative angles. PL intensity measurements showed an asymmetric enhancement distribution corresponding to the extinction response, suggesting that it is possible to shift the center of the luminescence intensity distribution.
