Anomalous Nernst heat flux sensors are expected to be a necessary elemental technology for a waste heat management society. The sensitivity of the sensor is related to the transverse Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity. Therefore, we conducted research focusing on amorphous Gd-Co alloys with the aim of increasing their sensitivity. We demonstrated that the Gd-Co alloys exhibit high sensitivity in both positive and negative polarities. The reason for the high sensitivity is based on the low thermal conductivity of the amorphous nature.
