Heat flux sensors facilitate the visualization of heat flow, unlike temperature sensors, and are expected to be a key technology in managing waste heat. We have succeeded in increasing the sensitivity of heat flux sensors based on the anomalous Nernst effect under no magnetic field by using composite structures with Tb-Co, an amorphous rare earth transition metal alloy with a large coercive force. As a result, the sensitivity under no magnetic field is as high as that in the high magnetic field region.
