The reaction of polyglycerol acrylate (PGA), which has a C-O-C bond as the main chain, with atomic hydrogen as a candidate polymer sensor material for measuring atomic hydrogen density was investigated. The O/C ratio decreased from 0.72 ± 0.02 (mean ± standard deviation) to 0.46 ± 0.01 after AHA treatment. On the other hand, C-C and C-OH bonds increased.
