Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is a complexing agent used to increase the solubility and stability of heavy metal ions, however, its degradation of water and soil quality and effects on human health are problematic. In recent years, studies have been carried out on the removal of metal-EDTA by advanced oxidation process. This study was conducted on the decomposition of Cu-EDTA by OH radicals generated directly by pulsed streamer discharges in contact with liquid.
