Tungsten-based heaters require further increase in electrical resistivity, which can be achieved through alloying. For instance, increased resistivity with Os and Re has been reported. This study aims to gain fundamental insights into enhancing the resistivity of tungsten alloys. We use first-principles calculations to investigate the stability and electrical resistivity of tungsten alloys.
