Keywords:

Hydrogen evolution,Mechanochemical method

In recent years, hydrogen has been attracting attention as an energy carrier as rising CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere have caused global warming. Hydrogen needs to be produced artificially, and there are methods to generate it through the use of fossil fuels or by electrolysis of water, but the former emits a large amount of CO2 A study of hydrogen production using a ball mill and this research on the possibility of H2 production by ball milling of aluminum hydroxide Al(OH)3 are underway.
