我々はβ-FeSi₂のもつ化学ポテンシャルにおいて、その伝導帯の対水素標準電極電位が約-0.7eVと水からの水素発生電位よりも卑な電位側に位置していることから、光触媒作用での水素発生への可能性に着目してTiO₂と金(Au)層を介して接合した複合粒子合成を報告してきた。本研究は、接合層に導入する金属種を変化させることで、β-FeSi₂の伝導帯の対水素標準電極電位を制御することを目指してTiO2基板上への結晶成長を報告する。
