前回，｢赤色，黄色，緑色および青色｣の各LEDの発電について，レフランプ形LED電球LDR6D-W(昼光色, 6.2W)を照射し，メロディICの動作により発電が確認できた．しかし白色LEDは，上記LEDなどに比較して発電電力が１桁程度小さく，ほとんど発電しなかった．今回は，LED電球の代わりに近紫外領域まで放射スペクトルをもつ太陽光の照射により，白色LEDが発電してメロディICの動作を確認したので報告する．
