A good solution for energy harvesting is to generate electricity using waste heat from our body or living environment. The development of flexible thermoelectric generators is therefore urgently necessary and studies on organic thermoelectric materials have become more and more intensive. In this article, we will briefly present one of the on-going studies about a mysterious phenomenon in organic semiconductors, the Giant Seebeck Effect. The facts revealed by the experiments to date will be presented and unresolved mysteries will be discussed.
