Metal halide perovskite (CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, I) nanocrystals (NCs) can emit light in the entire visible spectrum and are expected to be used for micro-LED displays. Therefore, this research group proposed wavelength conversion optical devices combining chemically stable blue InGaN LEDs with green and red perovskite NCs. In this study, silver nanoparticles were introduced into CsPbI3 NCs to induce localized surface plasmon resonance in the blue region, resulting in improved absorbance as well as wavelength conversion efficiency.
