[17a-C42-9]Analysis of GaN-based topological photonic Resonator in the visible light region

Edge states of honeycomb-lattice topological photonic crystals (PhC) have been the subject of much research for new device applications, such as unidirectional light propagation and topological bulk lasers. In this study, we perform a 3D FDTD analysis of a ring resonator structure composed of membrane GaN-based topological PhC in the visible light region, reproducing the electric field distribution similar to the annular emission observed in previous studies and evaluating the structure dependence of the Q values of the resonant modes.
