When performing optical trapping using tightly focused near-infrared lasers in a liquid medium, localized temperature increases can induce thermophoresis of small objects. In this study, we conducted numerical simulations of the laser-induced thermophoresis behavior of nanoparticles based on Brownian dynamics. Our goal was to understand this phenomenon and integrate it into optical manipulation techniques. During the presentation, we will validate our computational approach by comparing it with experimental results.
