We have demonstrated that Scanning Spreading Resistance Microscopy (SSRM) can evaluate the electrical contact between active material particles in all-solid-state batteries. In this study, we performed charge-discharge simulations using 3D simulation software GeoDict to elucidate the relationship between such electrical contact and battery capacity. The results showed a correlation between particle-to-particle contact and battery capacity when electron conduction through the active material is the rate-limiting factor.
