TADF has been actively studied as a third-generation emitter for OLEDs. TADF obtained 100% internal quantum efficiency owing to its small gap between singlet and triplet excited states. Furthermore, an inverted singlet triplet gap (InvEST) materials were proposed. 1,3,2,4-Diazadiboretidine (DADBT) was once reported as room temperature phosphorescence material, but advanced calculation suggested DADBT as an InvEST candidate. Thus, we conducted precise experiments and calculations to identify an actual emission mechanism of DADBT.
