In this study, we developed a single-molecule tunneling measurement technique for amino acids to enhance the precision of peptide analysis. We constructed a machine learning-based identification method using data obtained from single-molecule measurements, aimed at distinguishing amino acids at the functional group level and identifying structural isomers. This method successfully captured the electrical properties of twenty different amino acids and enabled high-precision identification of modified molecules. Furthermore, it was used to successfully distinguish and quantify differences in peptides. This technology has the potential to contribute to future peptide research and the analysis of biomolecules.
