Perovskite-type oxide LaTiO3 is an antiferromagnetic insulator which is known to become metallic through filling control. Meanwhile, attempts to metalize LaTiO3 through bandwidth control by epitaxial strain have been examined. In this study, we report the results of Mott transitions in LaTiO3 thin films grown on various substrates with varying film thicknesses. Additionally, we discuss the relationship between in-plane compressive strain, surface oxidation, and transport properties.
