[17p-P01-11] Investigation of the effect of La doping on the hydride conductivity of BaH₂ thin films

In this study, to investigate the correlation between the amount of hydrogen vacancies and hydride conductivity in hydride thin films, BaH₂ thin films with a small amount of La doping were prepared and their conduction was evaluated.BaH₂ thin films were grown on Al₂O₃ substrates by radical hydrogen reactive infrared laser deposition.X-ray analysis measurements revealed that La that BaH₂ thin films could be obtained even when La was doped. AC impedance measurements showed that La doping reduced the conductivity to about one-third that of pure BaH2.
