The copper oxide superconductor GdBa2Cu3O7-δ (GdBCO) exhibits significant anisotropy in electrical transport properties due to its anisotropic crystal structure. In this study, GdBCO thin films were deposited on vicinal SrTiO3(001) substrates using pulsed laser deposition with a KrF excimer laser, and the anisotropy of the superconducting and normal states was investigated. The anisotropy in the normal state was observed to increase as temperature decreased, maximizing near the superconducting transition temperature. Moreover, the degree of anisotropy was found to strongly correlate with the vicinal angle of the substrate.
