Solid-state quantum computers currently under development consist of localized quantum two-level systems, and the size of the control system increases in proportion to the number of physical qubits. Therefore, expensive control hardware and operational costs are required to realize a useful quantum computer. In this talk, I will present a novel scheme to realize large-scale quantum computation with small hardware by using flying qubits defined for electron wave packets that propagate through semiconductor quantum circuits without deformation or relaxation.
