Diamond nanocavities coupled with color centers enable highly efficient optical quantum interfaces and are crucial as one of the building blocks of quantum optical networks. Moreover, highly efficient coupling with optical fibers is essential for constructing long-distance networks. In particular, connecting optical nanostructures formed on bulk single-crystal diamond, which can support high-quality spin defects, to optical fibers is a significant challenge. In this presentation, we report on the design of a slab-type diamond bull's-eye optical resonator coupled to the end face of an optical fiber by butt coupling.
