So far, liquid-crystal (LC) millimeter-wave controlling devices with LC-filled metal plate stacks have been proposed. From a practical standpoint, it is necessary to improve transmittance and response properties. In this work, we propose an LC-filled magnet stack device with wide magnet spacing and short cavity length to increase the transmittance and decrease the response time. The transmittance and resonance frequency properties when applying a voltage are discussed.
