[18a-P05-32]Collective motion appearing in self-propelled ion gels

〇Yukine Takayama1, Kazuaki Furukawa1 (1.Meisei Univ.)

Keywords:

self-propelled ion gel,collective motion,active matter

Active matter refers to matter that move spontaneously, which is known to sometimes exhibit characteristic collective motion. When 100 self-propelled ion gels were introduced to the surface of the water, they formed aggregates over time. The aggregate formed did not stand still, and its size fluctuated in time. We report the temporal change in collective motion of self-propelled ion gels, and the correlation between the number of particles and aggregate formation.
