Production technology bridges the wide range of sciences and industrial technologies covered by the Japan Society of Applied Physics. In this symposium, we will discuss the real pleasure of production technology that makes engineers proud, the structuring of information obtained at production sites, the topic of green transition with a focus on water, and the creation of cutting-edge AI chips that are being used in various places. We will give a talk on the process of bridging the gap and provide an overview of the current situation and prospects for bridging the gap.
