Due to the AI boom that has continued since the 2010s, the development of AI chips is actively taking place in various countries. However, AI chip design requires expensive EDA tools, IP, and verification equipment, which pose significant barriers to demonstrating the technology on actual chips and linking it to business applications. To remove these barriers, the AI Chip Design Center aims to provide the necessary environment for chip development and to make design technologies and verification methods available to the public as a platform. This presentation will introduce the center's activities and offerings.
