表面加工や積層技術の高度化に伴い、高速かつ汎用的な表面測定技術の開発が求められている。従来の原子間力顕微鏡（AFM）は、走査測定に数分を要する上、急激な凹凸変化に弱い。そこで本研究では、画像認識AIを用いることで、短時間で広域の情報を取得できる走査電子顕微鏡（SEM）像から、試料の表面粗さと最大高さの予測を試みた。
