In this study, we focused on laser processing using a galvanometer scanner capable of processing a wide area quickly and with high precision. We developed a novel nozzle that can simultaneously perform nitrogen purging and metal vapor removal over a wide area. This presentation reports the results of analyses using 3D fluid simulations conducted to achieve high reproducibility and efficiency in atmosphere control, as well as the effects of the wide-area shield nozzle obtained from actual processing tests based on these conditions derived from the analysis.
