In our research group, we have been working on the control of crystallization by using laser ablation as an external stimulus and elucidation of its mechanisms. Recent works revealed that cavitation bubbles that are generated by laser ablation of liquids are the main trigger for crystal nucleation. In this study, to clarify the optimal conditions for crystal nucleation induced by cavitation bubbles, we systematically investigated the impact of patterned ultrashort pulse laser irradiation, utilizing a spatial light modulator(SLM), on the crystallization phenomena.
