In this study, we evaluated the gain of a parametric amplifier using YBCO, a high-temperature superconductor. Specifically, we assessed the characteristics of coplanar transmission lines fabricated with YBCO thin films and estimated the achievable gain through amplification. Ultimately, we proposed an estimate suggesting that approximately 1.4 meters of line length is required to achieve the desired 20 dB gain typically demanded by conventional amplifiers. Based on these findings, we plan to experimentally verify the dependence of gain on line length and will report detailed results in the future.
