Superconducting antennas have a low power handling capability, which is not sufficient for practical use in wireless power transmission. This is due to the high Q-value (narrow bandwidth) of the superconducting antenna causing large current density. In this study, we designed the superconducting antenna using a filtenna to enhance bandwidth of the antenna. In addition, we investigated the power handling capability of the superconducting antenna using electromagnetic field simulations. As a result, the power handling capability of the superconducting antenna could be improved more than 10 times.
