Reusing waste heat generated at power plants and factories is important for realizing a sustainable society. Therefore, in our laboratory, we have been researching a liquid transport device that operates in the nucleate boiling region, where waste heat can be utilized. However, a liquid transport device that uses the expansion pressure of bubbles in the nucleate boiling region has not yet been proposed or verified. In this report, we propose an overhang-type liquid transport device that can utilize the expansion pressure of bubbles in the nucleate boiling region, and report the results of an investigation into its performance.
