In recent years, the use of terahertz (THz) waves in high-energy physics has gained attention, highlighting the need for technology to generate high-intensity, narrow-linewidth THz waves. Difference frequency generation (DFG) is a promising method but presents certain challenges. We have constructed a compact optical parametric oscillator (OPO) using a degenerate OPO system and Volume Bragg Grating (VBG), with a Nd:YAG Micro MOPA as the pump source. Through our experiments, we successfully generated narrow-linewidth dual-wavelength light and detected THz waves using this light. This technology holds promise for the future development of high-intensity THz sources.
