[18p-P01-16] Pre-heat process and dose-response property of OSL phosphor BeO

BeO ceramic plates, which can be used as OSL devices, have high soft tissue equivalent and are ideal for dosimeters used in the medical field. However, its use has been limited due to issues such as insufficient sensitivity and LET dependence. It has reported that pre-heating a sample irradiated with 1 Gy of X-rays at 250 °C significantly increased the OSL sensitivity. In this study, we conducted pre-heated process of BeO ceramic plates and varied the dose to investigate the effects on OSL characteristics.
