With the advancement of neutron utilization technology, the development of thermoluminescent glass that enables easy and highly quantitative neutron detection is desired. In this study, two types of CaO–Al2O3–B2O3–SnO2 glass (10B-enriched and 11B-enriched glasses) were fabricated, and their thermoluminescent properties after X-ray and thermal neutron irradiation were investigated. The results showed no difference in thermoluminescent properties between the glasses for X-ray irradiation. However, for neutron irradiation, the 10B glass exhibited five times the luminescence intensity, indicating the neutron reactivity of the 10B glass.
