NV centers in diamond are applied to quantum sensors for magnetic force measurement by ODMR, but many special elements are required. For practical application of the sensor, it is important to fabricate a compact device in which these elements are packaged together. In this study, for a compact quantum sensor integrated with a Si photodetector, we report the design of an optical filter for excitation light rejection, which is necessary for low-noise quantum sensing, based on metasurfaces that can be fabricated extremely thin.
