Reverse mode polymer dispersed liquid crystal (R-PDLC) is a type of liquid crystal device that switches from a transparent state to a light scattering state by applied voltage, and uses the scattering caused by the difference in refractive index between the liquid crystal and the polymer material. It has been known that increasing the amount of anisotropic polymer to improve mechanical strength significantly increases the driving voltage, so attempts have been made to add with isotropic polymers. In this study, we changed the type and amount of isotropic polymer mixed and investigated the effect on the electro-optical properties.
