In optical fiber communication, it is necessary to accommodate the communication signals of a plurality of subscribers in one device, and to transmit the uplink signal and the downlink signal bidirectionally using a single optical fiber. Therefore, an optical triplexer is required as a combined wave using wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology. In this research, we design a waveguide crossing for polarization independent waveguide optical triplexer and aim to further reduce the size and performance of the device.
