In the reef ecosystem, organisms that live in symbiosis with zooxanthellae and fix carbon through photosynthesis are distributed. In this talk, we will focus on the photosynthetic organisms with efficient absorption of nitrogen components derived from fish, as in the case of model marine aquaponics, and discuss the ideal form of sustainable food production from the perspective of biogeochemical cycles.
